Using sampled audio from a dozen of the 2009 fesitval’s films, we recontextualized the dialogue into a single narrative about exploration, self-discovery and the quest for great film. The constructed narrative is accompanied by hand-made, stop-motion animation that pays homage to the pioneering animated feature, “Adventures of Prince Achmed.” An enormous success, the trailers won numerous awards and were featured on the cover of Communication Arts Design Annual 50, being honored in the category of best motion graphics.
