Jasmine V - “Just a Friend”

“Just a Friend” is an interactive music video that showcases the capability of Internet Explorer through an engaging HTML5 experience.

Microsoft wanted to create an emotional connection between the browser and a young audience, as well as supporting modern web technology and the communities that bring it to life. To achieve this, DIGITALKITCHEN partnered with Microsoft and musical artist, Jasmine V to craft an interactive narrative, based around the song’s ill fated relationship. During the experience, fans are invited to join the fun through Facebook integration, simple games that affect the outcome of the story, and even receive a surprise phone call from Jasmine herself.

The launch of “Just a Friend,” has helped IE quickly find a new generation of fans, as well as nurturing the close relationship Jasmine shares with her audience, by empowering them to engage with her and the music in a highly immersive way.
